E2 CONDOMINIUMS

The luxury 48-story high-rise tower, located in the heart of Toronto’s midtown neighbourhood, is an infill project providing a highly amenitized public space element and enhanced streetscape. The linear space between the building and a neighbouring tower is intended to serve as a POPS. Designed by STUDIO tla as an urban amenity and future connector to southern parcels per the city’s urban design guidelines, the unique space is envisioned as a passive gathering space with lounge seating, dog rest area and dedicated space for public art. Due to limitations of available natural sunlight, minimal planting is necessary. Interactive in nature, the structure is intended to humanize the mass of adjacent buildings and to provide visual interest.
